If you noted the blend of jazz/pop/bee-bop/blues, Garnett has an illustrious career of his own. Currently a professor of music at Vanderbilt University, Garnett has appeared with Henry Mancini, the Mills Brothers, Johnny Desmond, Frankie Avalon, Shirley Jones, Frankie Masters, Della Reese

... a virtual 'who's who' of American jazz pop masters and classics. Hats off and many thanks to Garnett for this very special addition to our occasion.
